When your plate is issued, the month of expiration is affixed to the plate. Your registration will expire on the last day of this month.

The expiration year is in the top right corner of the plate. During a new plate issue the year is preprinted. Starting January 2007, registration decals will be issued. The decal will go on top of the last expiration year. Both your State and County fees are included in the same registration.

| COUNTY NAME
|
The county name strip is placed on each plate issued in Montgomery County. If the plate was purchashed through a dealer in another county, you can receive a Montgomery County sticker by coming into our office and paying the wheel tax.

WHEEL TAX
|
Montgomery County requires a Wheel Tax decal excluding exempt status. The decal should be placed on the bottom right corner.
