The Jail is a 936 bed pre-trial detention facility. The jail is staffed more than 180 employees. The Jail handles inmate booking and processing, visitation, transportation to court and other detention facilities, inmate and facility security. The Jail currently contracts for Food and Medical Services. In addition to local detainees, the Jail houses approximately 50 inmates from the Tennessee Department of Corrections.

VISITOR FORM VISITATION GUIDELINES ON-LINE VISITATION FORMNEW Visitation Hours for the Jail ONLY Hours to call and shedule an appointment are MON-FRI 9am to 12:30 pm and 1 pm - 3 pm Visitation hours by appointment only depending on location of inmate WED & SAT or THURS & SUN Appointment time start at 6:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Visitation forms must be filled out and completed prior to inital appointment regardless of age Visitation forms may be dropped of at the Jail or it can be faxed to (931)553-5103 If a minor has an appointment they must be accompanied by a Parent / Guardian and the adult will have to show proof of guardianship
