The Records Division, lead by a supervisor and nine employees staffs the section and is open to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The division handles all non-emergency phone calls and requests for service coming into the Sheriff's Office for county residents.

Emergency requests are referred to the Montgomery County E-911 Center at 931-552-1011.

The division process and maintain all reports written by Sheriff's Office personnel, maintains criminal histories, all arrest reports that are processed through the jail, pawn shop transactions, perform inquires and makes entries into NCIC, and handles all other requests by deputies and Sheriff's Office personnel.
