The Montgomery County Storm Water Program is responsible for monitoring residential and commercial development projects to ensure that these projects limit pollutant discharges to the environment to the maximum extent practical. Any proposed project that will result in the disturbance of more than 10,000 square feet of earth (approximately 1/4 acre) is required to submit Grading, Drainage and Erosion Control plans for review by this office, and adhere to Montgomery County Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control requirements. An important part of the review process is allowing the public to make comments and express there concerns relative to these projects.
