Hazardous Waste Collection

Please help protect our environment. Bring your household hazardous waste to this FREE event and dispose of it properly. Any Tennessee resident is welcome, but no businesses please.

Saturday, September 20, 2008 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Montgomery Veteran's Plaza Parking Lot

Up to 100 pounds of items such as household cleaners; automotive products; home, lawn and garden products; home maintenance products; and miscellaneous items such as old computers, batteries, pool chemicals, photoprocessing chemicals, medicines and drugs, aerosols and compressed gas. Latex paint, used cooking oil, electronic waste (computers & tv’s) are now being accepted at the landfill located at 3212 Dover Road for recycling. No dioxins or ammunition is allowed. Please contact the Bi-County office at the numbers above for any questions.

Restrictions

No liquids, ashes, RCRA hazardous wastes, or radioactive materials are accepted.
