Storm Water Board of Appeals

Authority:

Montgomery County Board of Commissioners Resolution 03-1-5, adopting the official code relative to Montgomery County Storm Water Management Program in accordance with T. C. A. 68-221-1100.

Purpose:

To hear appeals under the provisions of the official code relative to the Montgomery County Storm Water Management Program as set forth in Resolution 03-1-5.

Membership:

Four members and two alternate members for the community at large with an interest in land development and/or land disturbing activities, and one technical member who shall be a civil engineer registered in the State of Tennessee. Members shall be appointed by the County Executive and shall be residents of Montgomery County for not less than one year.

Terms:

Two (2) years on a staggered basis not to exceed two (2) consecutive two-year terms.

1. one technical member, two lay members and one alternate for a term of two (2) years, and
2. two lay members and one alternate for a term of one (1) year.

Meetings:

Monthly at least five (5) business days prior to the regular Planning Commission Meeting. The chairman shall determine the day and time of the board meetings.
