The Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Service is a long-standing public/private partnership organized into (5) districts with (6) stations. We provide emergency response services to areas of Montgomery County outside the City of Clarksville. Each station is strategically located to ensure maximum participation by volunteer firefighters and rapid response to emergencies.

Montgomery County Government provides the Service’s equipment, vehicles, utilities and insurance while the all-volunteer force must provide the fire stations, personnel, fire hall furnishings, and much of their operational funding. To meet their portion of the funding requirements, the firefighters and their families and friends hold fundraising events, solicit donations, and sometimes give of their own resources to serve the citizens of Montgomery County.
